Resorts By The Baagh, a chain of contemporary upscale residences in the heart of Kumaon, offers exceptional hospitality, bespoke luxuries, and world-class comforts, inspired by the nobility of Indian traditions. Standing tall as the most preferred destination among leisure travellers, our story scribed its early chapters a decade ago. As inhabitants of the quaint and verdant town of Ramnagar, our founders, Mr. K.P. Singh and Dr. Vinod Ahlawat, always envisioned pioneering the idea of solace and a luxurious respite in the lap of nature.
In their quest to find an awe-inspiring setting to lay the cornerstone of their dreams, the makers first discovered the beautiful land in the serene village of Patkot in 2012. The uphill drive and the picturesque landscapes cast a mesmerising charm. Two years later, the resort opened its doors to voyagers and nature lovers.
“Resorts By The Baagh” - the name, although distinct, has a fascinating story behind it. While driving back from the property in Patkot, our founders had caught a rare sight of a full-grown Royal Bengal tiger. It all seemed like a stroke of luck, inspiring our founders to fix upon the name “The Baagh.”
